Holy Apostles Memorial

Servant of the Lord Gregory (Dick Eikenberg)

Richard L. (Dick) Eikenberg, of Bloomington, passed away peacefully on September 27, 2025, at the age of eighty-one.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Joyce; daughters Aimee Beam (Brian) and Jennifer McCarron (Joseph); and four granddaughters, Alexandra, Elizabeth, Lauren, and Julianna, all of whom he adored.

Born in New York, Dick moved with his family to Illinois in 1980. He worked in leadership roles in business and later founded Business Builders, a Bloomington-based sales and marketing agency. He also gave his time to community service, including roles with the McLean County Chamber of Commerce and the McLean County Economic Development Council.

Following his retirement, he remained active through his new company, Sales Management Associates, a consulting practice.

Faith and relationships were central in his life. He was a long-time member of the Holy Apostles Orthodox Christian Church of Bloomington, where he valued the fellowship of his church family. He will be remembered for his devotion to Joyce, his love for his children and grandchildren, and the many friendships he treasured throughout his life.
